What Aries Insight's AI output is and is not. Output can contain errors, is not professional advice, and depends on your data and on third-party services. Verify figures before you make decisions.
1. AI output can be wrong
Aries Insight uses AI language models to work with your data. Figures in answers and dashboards are calculated by running queries and code on your data, not made up by the model. The model interprets your question, chooses which data and calculation to use, and writes the explanation around the figures.
Each of those steps can go wrong. Treat Output as analysis to check, not as a final result, and verify figures and conclusions against your source data before you rely on them for decisions.
2. Common reasons an answer can be wrong
- The question can be read in more than one way, and the model chose a different reading from the one you meant.
- The model used a different field, period, filter or grouping from the one you intended.
- The source data is incomplete, out of date, duplicated or inconsistent.
- The knowledge base reflects the data as it was when the source was last processed.
- Data access rules limit what you or the Service can see, so a result may cover only part of the data.
- The written explanation describes a correct figure inaccurately, or the wording differs between languages.
3. Not professional advice
Output is general analytical information. It is not financial, investment, accounting, tax, legal, medical, employment or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before acting on matters that need such advice.
4. Your decisions are your own
You decide how to use Output. To the extent the law allows, Aries AI is not responsible for decisions made or actions taken on the basis of Output. The Terms of Service set out Aries AI's liability.
5. Third-party data sources and services
The Service reads data from systems you choose, such as your databases, files and cloud data platforms. Aries AI does not control those systems and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, security or changes. A change on their side, such as a new schema, a revoked permission or an outage, can stop a connection working or change results.
The Service also relies on third-party infrastructure, AI model and payment providers. Their outages or changes can affect the Service.
6. Availability
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. Maintenance, provider outages and events beyond our control can make it unavailable. Keep your own copies of your source data; the Service is not a backup.
7. Templates and examples
Dashboard templates, sample questions and examples in the Service and on our website illustrate what the Service can do. They are not statements about your data or a promise of particular results.
